YOUR ARRIVAL
Arrival is the first transition into retreat. As you enter Pleiades Ranch Oasis, the environment begins to change around you—open pasture, expansive Texas sky, animals, natural sounds, and greater distance from the constant movement of everyday life.
You'll have time to orient yourself, settle into your accommodations, meet the people sharing the weekend with you, and begin adjusting to a different pace. You do not need to arrive already feeling centered, spiritual, peaceful, or transformed.
Simply arrive.

Staying on the ranch means the retreat doesn't end when the day's scheduled experiences are complete. Your glamping accommodations provide a personal place to return between gatherings and at the end of the evening—while keeping you connected to the land and the rhythm of the retreat.
Step outside in the morning and you're already there. Look toward the evening sky and you're still inside the experience. You don't leave the retreat at the end of the day. You settle more deeply into it.

- One of the defining parts of this retreat is the opportunity to spend time with visiting practitioners from Peru whose relationship with Andean tradition comes through family, community, ceremony, the land, and years of practice.
- Don Agustin Machacca Florez and Santos Machacca Apaza bring more than scheduled programming to the weekend. Their presence creates opportunities to listen, observe, ask thoughtful questions, participate respectfully, and encounter traditions through the people who carry them.
- This is not about recreating Peru in Texas or turning sacred tradition into entertainment.
- It is about creating a respectful meeting place between people, land, culture, and tradition.

Don Agustin describes his path as part of an Andean family tradition carried through generations. His relationship with ceremony developed through family, observation, practice, responsibility, and continued learning.
SANTOS MACHACCA APAZA
Santos represents the continuation of the family's living tradition, carrying forward knowledge and responsibilities shared across generations while participating in the retreat alongside Don Agustin.
